At our office in Naaldwijk, NL, we are looking for a Backoffice Employee for export to the UK
Who are we?
Gimall Plants is a family business with an informal atmosphere, active for over 30 years in the export of potted and garden plants to various European countries, including the United Kingdom, France, and Italy. With locations in both the Netherlands (Honselersdijk) and Belgium (Lochristi), we supply our plants to wholesalers, garden centers, landscapers, and e-commerce companies.
What will you do?
As a backoffice employee for our export team to the United Kingdom, you will be an important link between our growers and customers. You will ensure that our plants reach customers in top condition and with the correct paperwork. Your tasks will include:
- Applying for phytosanitary certificates.
- Organizing plant inspections.
- Preparing import and export documents.
- Preparing quotes and offers for customers.
- Entering and processing orders.
- Maintaining contacts with growers and customers.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a colleague who enjoys a dynamic work environment and has a bit of a soft spot for plants (and, of course, the export process behind them). You are accurate, customer-friendly, and enjoy working with a small, enthusiastic team. Are you a flexible team player who has no problem with a bit of hustle and bustle, but always manages to get everything done perfectly? Then we would love to meet you!
Our ideal candidate has:
- Experience with Office 365 (Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- A good command of both Dutch and English, written and spoken.
- Affinity with the ornamental horticulture sector.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A solution-oriented and flexible mindset.
- Experience with export documents, Floriday, and Match Online is a plus.
